Looking after wood
1. You are buying a piece of natural art. I have cut, sanded, and treated each piece in a way that best reflects the wood’s natural beauty, but also makes it long lasting art.
2. Weather, moisture, and time will all have an effect on the art, and this is part of the inherent magic of each piece.
3. Trees have a mind of their own, even after they’ve been cut down. So please be aware that you’re buying a piece of art that may one day naturally fade a little, or develop a chip, or now slightly if you live near the sea… this is all perfectly natural and part of what gives these works of art life.
4. If your product needs to be cleaned, use a soft dry cloth, no wipes or sprays or cleaners. Direct moisture will have a negative effect on the ink, unless it has been specially sealed for outdoor use.
